Training

Polarity Therapy Training

Full RPP Polarity Training includes all of the following

Bodywork and Healing

During the extensive periods of bodywork training, sensitivity of touch, awareness of energy and appreciation of the state of the client are developed. We study the Polarity energy model, special Polarity relationships and elements, which help us to know where to place the hands on the body to restore balance.

The bodywork includes fascial unwinding and structural balancing, in which the body is brought into balance by combining anatomical knowledge with connections to promote energy flow.

The Training also includes Cranio-sacral techniques for freeing and balancing the flow of cerebro-spinal fluid.

Polarity Exercises

Special exercises, sometimes called Polarity Yoga, form part of the Training. These may be used by clients to support their healing process.

Nutrition

Nutritional principles are covered from several points of view: elemental (Ayurvedic), naturopathic and modern. It is important to ensure that appropriate nutrition and elimination of toxicity support the process of healing.

Working with Tissue Memory

Special skills are introduced during the Training to enable the therapist to work creatively with underlying trauma which may be released from the tissue-memory during bodywork. These skills may be deepened in workshops which are run in addition to the Polarity Training.

Self discovery

During the Training, within the safe environment of the group, students naturally discover more about themselves. This is important, since one can only help others to the extent that one understands oneself. This self-discovery leads towards a greater sense of balance and inner stillness.
